Subjectly is a product of Subjectly Inc., a corporation incorporated in the State of California. Subjectly provides AI-powered educational content, quizzes, and podcasts. All content is generated by large language models and is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. It must not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, financial, or any other form of regulated advice. Subjectly makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.

The Subjectly app, branding, and design are owned by Subjectly Inc. User-uploaded images remain your property. AI-generated content produced by Subjectly is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use.

Subjectly uses a credit system for AI features. Credits are consumed per scan, lesson, quiz, and podcast generation. By purchasing credits or a subscription you agree to the following refund policy:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Subjectly Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of profits, or damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Subjectly application.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Subjectly service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Subjectly in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
